We will work with participants to build advanced conflict management skills in handling impasse in special education disputes. This session will feature an impasse handling activity excerpted from the advanced mediation training program presented to Resolution Facilitators in Iowa by the Conflict Resolution Center of Iowa. Presenters will also provide information on Iowa's Resolution Facilitation process and how it's working as an early intervention piece of the special education dispute resolution system in Iowa.
