The Working Together Series (available in Spanish and English) includes 5 interactive self-directed courses. These courses provide families and educators with a number of strategies for working together and through conflict. The Series includes a number of supplemental resources including a Facilitator Guide for those interested in extending learning through group discussions and activities.

The Supporting Families to Engage in the IEP/IFSP Process and Resolve Conflicts, is a self-paced online course supports Parent Center staff, advocates, and others who assist families in engaging effectively in the IEP and IFSP process and resolving conflicts constructively. The course introduces core topics—communication, conflict engagement, parental rights to dispute resolution, and responding to dispute resolution calls—by leveraging CADRE’s trusted tools and materials. Real-life scenarios and short knowledge checks with feedback support practical, real-world application. A final module focuses on using CADRE resources to extend and reinforce learning, making this course a strong onboarding and refresher tool.

The Your Journey to Self-determination Series (for youth) includes 6 interactive courses. These courses are an introduction to the concepts and skills students need to become self-determined and engage in their educational planning. Although the courses and lessons are self-directed, they are intended to compliment other activities, discussions, and practice opportunities necessary for students to develop self-determination skills. A Facilitator Guide with supplemental activities and resources has been developed to assist teachers, parents/guardians, and mentors in furthering student learning.
