Diana is a second year doctoral student at the University of Northern Colorado. Her research interests include parent educator collaboration and advocacy efforts among culturally and linguistically diverse families of students with disabilities. Diana is a life-long educator with over 15 years experience in special education. She has held positions at the building, district, state and national level. She currently works as a education program specialist for the Oregon Department of Education.
