Margaret Reed has experience with a variety of special education resolution processes through her participation as a Pupil Personnel Director, Parent, CASA, CSPD Trainer for the state of Massachusetts as well as a consultant for the MA Bureau of Special Education Appeals – SPED-Ex Project. She has worked with over 100 districts to assist in changing practices and addressing conflict resolution issues as well as providing program evaluations and consultation to systems experiencing difficulty implementing IDEA elements. She is an Associate Professor at Fitchburg State University in the graduate department, leading courses in special education law, research, collaboration and consultation as well as workshops on conflict resolution. She received her doctorate from Clark University and her personal research focuses on system change and regulatory implementation.
