Linda Appleby is the Parent Coordinator for the Parent Educator Connection Program of Western Hills Area Education Agency 12. She works with parents, educators and outside agencies to provide appropriate services to children with special needs. Linda has completed the Advanced Mediation Training through the Iowa Peace Institute and is a Resource Facilitator for AEA-12. She earned a B.S. degree in Psychology from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and a M.S.E. in Community Counseling from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Linda is married and the parent of two adult children. Her oldest child received special education services while in school. Linda is a Resolution Facilitator for Western Hills AEA having been trained by the Iowa Peace Institute and the Conflict Resolution Center of Iowa. She is also a member of the RESPECT training team.
