Karen Hannan

I am committed to supporting individuals, teams, and organizations to close the gap between current reality and desired vision. My work is informed by 12 years as a speech-language pathologist serving children (and their families) in early intervention (birth-3) and in public schools school K-12 and 18 years in dispute resolution as a mediator. I am particularly interested in shifting the ways our thinking limits the options open to us and in encouraging the use of effective conflict engagement strategies. Through my business, Possibilities, Inc., I provide a range of services, including mediation in the areas of special education, workplace disputes, and charter school sponsorship; training in leadership and supervision, change management, conflict resolution, and teambuilding; facilitation of IEP meetings, collaborative planning, and teambuilding; coaching for personal/professional development; and consulting for organizational development and systems improvement.
