Jessica Velez

Jessica Velez is a mediator, facilitator, and trainer focused on helping individuals and groups navigate through conflict and change. She was previously the coordinator of Delaware’s statewide mediation program, housed in the Conflict Resolution Program at the University of Delaware, where she mediated special education disputes and facilitated challenging IEP meetings. Ms. Velez designs and delivers trainings, presentations, and professional development workshops for educators, advocates, and parents of special education students on the topics of conflict management, effective communication, and facilitation techniques. She has a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology, both from the University of Delaware.
