Jane Burns has served thirteen years as the System Administrator and Intake Coordinator for the Wisconsin Special Education Mediation System and as the Birth to 3 Mediation System Manager. She is sole proprietor of Burns Mediation Services, LLC. Jane received her B.S. from Beloit College and Graduate School and her Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Marquette University. She is the President of the Wisconsin Association of Mediators and served as Editor of the Association’s newsletter. Her article, Stakeholder Involvement Yields Better Mediation System, appeared in the Wisconsin Law Journal Alternative Dispute Resolution Special Section. She has provided training related to WSEMS and early conflict resolution in Wisconsin and nationally.
