Carol Bercos

Carol Bercos, M.S.W., M.A. is currently the Coordinator of Therapeutic Services for the Special Education District of Lake County, IL. Her responsibilities include the supervision of the social work and psychology departments. In addition, Carol participated in writing the Illinois State Board of Education grant for the Parent Mentor Project and has supervised that program since its inception 7 years ago. She has presented numerous times with the Parent Mentors on this topic, including several presentations at Illinois’ State NCLB conference. In addition, Carol has presented at state conferences on Section 504, Diagnostic Programming, and student discipline issues.
