Bernard Dempsey

Bernard Dempsey is currently a Training Specialist with SEMS.  In the past ten years he has mediated and facilitated over three hundred dispute resolution sessions and meetings, including many in special education.  He previously taught a Michigan State Court approved forty-hour mediation training as well as a variety of two hour advanced dispute resolution and communication trainings, and was an adjunct professor at two law schools.   Before coming to SEMS, he served as the Executive Director of the Wayne County Dispute Resolution Center, where he oversaw the implementation of a number of restorative practices programs and trainings in schools.
