As an IEP meeting facilitator and certified mediator, Robin O’Shea brings real life experiences and scenarios to her training participants. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked as a special educator and behavior specialist, curriculum specialist, and administrator. As a special education administrator, she provided educational leadership to staff and the community by focusing on parent and school team relationships, collaborating with school teams, and improving student outcomes. Robin worked for the Arizona Department of Education CADRE to provide statewide support, mentorship and assistance to colleagues in Special Education. She has also taught special education law courses at Grand Canyon University.
Key2Ed was founded in 2004 to provide educational consulting services to school districts, state departments of education, and other educational agencies and entities serving students K – 12th grade. The Key2Ed staff members have extensive training, knowledge, and expertise coming from their years on the job and field educational experiences throughout the country, including work with charter schools. As of today, over 1,000 workshops have been held and 10,000 individuals have been trained using their Program to reduce conflict and to provide an IEP collaborative meeting atmosphere.
